Who we are

This website is windbooster.in, operated by UGLARE INFRATRONICS LLP, the authorised distributor for Windbooster GT in India. Our registered address is A-47, Ecotech 6, Greater Noida 201312, Uttar Pradesh. You can reach us at contactus@windbooster.in or on WhatsApp.

What we collect, and when

We do not ask you to create an account, and you can read every page on this site without giving us anything.

When you send us an enquiry

The enquiry forms on this site do not store anything on the website itself. They open WhatsApp with a message ready for you to send, so whatever you choose to send reaches us as an ordinary WhatsApp message. Depending on the form, that typically includes your name, phone number, car make and model, and your city. For dealer enquiries it also includes your shop name and the type of business you run.

If you email or call us instead, we hold whatever you tell us in that email or call.

We keep these enquiries so we can answer you, arrange fitting, and follow up. We do not sell them and we do not add you to a marketing list without asking.

When you make a warranty claim

We record the serial number of every device we sell. For a claim we may also hold your name and contact details, your car details, your dealer invoice if you bought from a partner, and a description or photo of the fault. We keep this for as long as the device is in warranty, and afterwards as a record of the claim.

When you use the store locator

If you type a PIN code or city, that search happens inside your own browser. It is not sent to us and we do not log it.

If you tap “Use my current location”, your browser will ask your permission first. Your location is used only in your browser to work out which partners are nearest. It is not sent to us or to anyone else. If you refuse, the locator still works by PIN code or city.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies to track you around the web, and we do not run advertising trackers on it. WordPress may set a cookie if you log in as an administrator, which does not apply to ordinary visitors.

Embedded content from other websites

Some pages embed content from other services, such as WhatsApp links, Google Maps directions and YouTube or Instagram links. Following one of those takes you to that company’s own service, where their privacy policy applies rather than ours. They may set their own cookies and collect their own data about you.

Who we share your information with

• Our fitting partners. If you ask to be put in touch with a partner near you, or you send an enquiry from a city where we have one, we may pass your name, phone number and car details to that partner so they can help you. We tell you when we do this.
• Nobody else, commercially. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
• Service providers. Our website hosting and email are run by third parties on our behalf, and your information passes through them in the ordinary course of running the site.
• Where the law requires it. We will share information if we are legally obliged to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as we are dealing with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. Warranty and sales records are kept for at least the length of the warranty, and longer where accounting or tax rules require it.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Write to contactus@windbooster.in and tell us what you would like. We may need to keep some records even after a deletion request where the law requires it — for example sales invoices.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to put it right.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
