The Fortuner has the torque, but its factory pedal mapping holds it back. There is a noticeable pause between pressing the accelerator and the SUV pulling, especially from low speed and in city traffic.
Windbooster GT shortens that pause by reshaping the pedal signal. The engine and its tune stay exactly as Toyota made them.

Where each mode earns its place
All nine modes work on the Fortuner. These are the ones owners use most. Adjustable modes have 10 levels, from 0 to 9.
City and overtakes
Takes out the delay so the Fortuner responds as soon as you press the pedal.

Made for your Fortuner's pedal
Your Windbooster GT ships with the connector for the Toyota Fortuner (part WBGT-TOYO-FORTUNER). It plugs in between the accelerator pedal and its factory plug in the driver's footwell. Nothing is cut or spliced, and unplugging it returns the car to stock.
Most owners fit it themselves in about 15 minutes with our installation guide, or a trained partner can fit it for you.
Five years of warranty
Every unit is serial-tracked. A device that fails in the first two years is replaced free. From year three to year five you get a new unit at a pro-rata discount.
Fortuner owners ask
Does it add horsepower?
No. Peak power stays the same. What changes is how quickly the engine responds to your foot, which is where most of the sluggish feeling comes from.
Does it change my engine's tune?
No. The ECU and engine settings are untouched. Windbooster GT only reshapes the electronic signal from the pedal, so the engine responds sooner or more gently. Unplug it and the car is exactly as it left the factory.
Can I fit it myself?
Yes. It plugs in at the accelerator pedal in the driver's footwell, usually in about 15 minutes. Our fitting partners can also do it for you.
